
Darryl D. Gordon, Ph.D.

Dr. Darryl D. Gordon is a higher education leader, connector, and Culture & Community Builder serving as a Program Manager within the Academic Affairs, Office of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Central Florida. With over a decade of experience in higher education administration, he leads and supports strategic initiatives that advance student success, faculty engagement, and institutional effectiveness.
In addition to his professional role, Dr. Gordon serves as President of the UCF Black Faculty and Staff Association, where he provides visionary leadership for high-impact programming, community partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen belonging and engagement across the university and Central Florida community.
A committed servant leader, Dr. Gordon is a member of the Winter Park Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he also serves on the Foundation Board. His civic and professional involvement includes serving as Vice Chair of the Black Health Commission Board of Directors, an Advisory Council member for the Heart of Florida United Way’s Emerging Leaders Program, an Ambassador for the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, and a member of the inaugural cohort of the Black Board Leadership Institute.
In recognition of his leadership and impact, Dr. Gordon has been named one of the Orlando Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” and continues to be a driving force in advancing equity, leadership, and
community engagement throughout Central Florida.
