Lenora Easter is the real deal—a fearless advocate for justice who’s rewriting the rules and making the system work for everyone. She’s currently running for Public Defender of Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit, proving she’s not afraid to take the fight where it matters most: the courtroom.
With over a decade of experience in law, Lenora has worn many hats. She’s been a public defender, a Regional Program Director for Partners for Justice, and a civil rights champion with the National Lawyers Guild’s George Floyd/BLM Civil Litigation Task Force. At The Bronx Defenders, she led interdisciplinary teams of attorneys, social workers, and parent advocates, ensuring her clients received the support they needed to overcome systemic challenges.
Lenora’s education is as impressive as her career. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UCF. Oh, and let’s not forget her leadership roles in the Black Law Student Association and her groundbreaking work as a community board member in The Bronx.
