Champion of Youth Development and Sportsmanship
My name is Eric Pinellas, I'm a lifelong resident of Osceola County. I graduated from Osceola High School, after graduation I attended Georgia Military College before finishing at UCF. I recently completed my 24th year for the Osceola County School District, all at the best school in the county, Osceola High School. I've been the Head Track and Field Coach for all 24 years, for 21 years I was an assistant football coach before taking over as Head Football Coach in 2021. I also served as Head Girls Weightlifting coach for 10 years.
I have been blessed to be surrounded by talented athletes, as Head Track Coach I've had 48 athletes receive athletic scholarships, coached 11 State Champions, with one of my athletes Tynia Gaither qualifying to participate in 2 Olympic Games, and 3 World Championships as a member of the Bahamian Track Team. As Head Football Coach since 2021, we have had 24 young men sign athletic scholarships. In my tenure as Head Weightlifting Coach, I've coached 3 State Champions.
It has always been my passion to help the youth of Osceola County succeed, and as long as I'm able to that's what I will continue to do.
