Kia Blair

Manager of Multicultural Affairs and Partnerships, OurLegacy

Kia Blair leads the OurLegacy’s Multicultural Affairs and Partnerships program for AdventHealth. A University of Oklahoma graduate, Kia had a long career as a TV news journalist before joining AdventHealth and OurLegacy.

Among her favorite memories are interviews with Denzel Washington and Mick Jagger. In the U.S., over 100,000 people need transplants, with minorities making up 60% of the waiting list but only 32% of donors. Kia is on a mission to dispel myths about organ donation in minority communities.
