History was made as the Black Empowerment & Community Council (BECC) celebrated the installation of Tiffany Jeffers as its new President. This momentous event unfolded within the welcoming walls of Solid Rock Community Church, marking a new era of leadership and vision for Osceola County's future.

The installation ceremony, held on a sunny Sunday at 3 PM, was not just a formality but a testament to the bright and expansive impact BECC envisions for our community. With the presence of Candice Simmons, a luminary in business execution and equity strategy, as the keynote speaker, the event was imbued with an inspiring vision of the power that community and leadership hold in fostering empowerment and inciting change.

The proceedings were gracefully presided over by the esteemed Rev. Dr. Matthew Quainoo and Dr. David Walker, highlighting the event's importance and the unity of the community's support for BECC's mission. Tiffany Jeffers, in her inaugural address, shared an ambitious and hopeful outlook for the council. She spoke with heartfelt gratitude for the community's backing and the synergistic efforts that lie ahead, especially emphasizing the blossoming partnership with the NAACP of Central Florida—a collaboration set to enrich the lives of Osceola's residents significantly.

Rhesa Quainoo's moving rendition of "Lift Every Voice" echoed the ethos of unity and hope that defines BECC, while Donasia Harry, the Master of Ceremony, ensured the event's seamless progression with elegance and poise. LaVell Monger, Special Advisor to the Board, extended a warm welcome to all gathered, encapsulating the essence of community celebration and collective strength.

The call to action, passionately delivered by Bianca Belabre, was more than just an invitation—it was a rallying cry for proactive change and engagement from every attendee. It was a moment that transcended celebration, becoming a clarion call for positive transformation and involvement.

This landmark event signifies a rejuvenated commitment to empowering the Black community in Osceola County. With Tiffany Jeffers at the helm and the steadfast support of key partners, the BECC is primed to advance significantly in areas of education, health, economic development, and beyond.

The Black Empowerment & Community Council extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this pivotal occasion. Moving forward with vigor and a crystalline vision, we stand united, ready to unlock the full potential of every community member.

This is more than a transition; it's a transformation—a journey we embark on together, fortified by leadership that shines with promise and a council that stands as a cornerstone of hope and progress.
